Will Brennan – Managing Partner, Portfolio Manager
Will Brennan is Long Path Partners’ Managing Partner and serves as Portfolio Manager for the Long Path Partners Fund and Co-Portfolio Manager for the Smaller Companies Fund. Prior to establishing Long Path in 2018, Will was a Managing Director of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. where he Co-Managed a concentrated equity portfolio named 1818 Partners, LP. Will also served as the Head of Strategy for Brown Brothers’ Investment Management business and helped oversee third-party manager research work for BBH’s Private Bank. Will joined Brown Brothers in 2006.
Will received his BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Brian Nelson – Partner, Portfolio Manager
Brian Nelson serves as Co-Portfolio Manager of the Long Path Smaller Companies Fund. Prior to establishing Long Path in 2018, Brian was a Senior Vice President of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. where he led the third-party manager research team for the firm’s Private Bank. Brian previously served as Director of Finance for BBH’s Investment Management business, as a Research Analyst for the 1818 Partners, LP, equity strategy, and as a corporate credit Analyst. Brian joined Brown Brothers in 2007.
Brian received his BA in Economics from Williams College. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Ed Johnson – Partner, Senior Analyst
Ed Johnson is a Senior Analyst for the Long Path Partners Fund. Prior to establishing Long Path in 2018, Ed was a Senior Vice President of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. where he was a Technology and Business Services Analyst for the firm’s flagship equity strategy. Before joining Brown Brothers in 2013, Ed spent 10 years with National City’s Investment Management as an Analyst and Co-Portfolio Manager for the large and mid-cap value strategies. Ed served as a derivatives Analyst for UBS and as a consultant for Ernst & Young in the property tax practice between 1996 and 2002.
Ed received his BA in English Literature from Miami University and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Ted Keith – Partner, Senior Analyst
Ted Keith is a Senior Analyst for the Long Path Partners Fund. Before joining Long Path in 2018, Ted was a Senior Analyst at Three Bays Capital, an Associate at Berkshire Partners, and an Analyst at The Blackstone Group. He joined Blackstone in 2009. Ted serves as a lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Ted received his BA in Management Science and a minor in Economics from MIT and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
JP Sullivan – Senior Analyst
JP Sullivan is a Senior Analyst for the Long Path Smaller Companies Fund. Prior to joining Long Path in 2019, JP was a Research Analyst with Bares Capital Management, a long-only, concentrated, value-based investment manager where he primarily focused on software businesses. Before joining Bares Capital Management, JP was an Associate at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. on the Investment Management Strategy team where he worked with Will, Brian, and Wyatt closely. JP joined BBH in 2013.
JP has a BSBA with a concentration in Finance and Economics from Bryant University. JP is also a CFA Charterholder.
Devon Krapcho – Associate, Analyst
Devon Krapcho is an Analyst for the Long Path Partners Fund. Prior to joining Long Path in 2020, Devon was an Investment Banking Analyst at DBO Partners, a boutique investment banking firm based in San Francisco, CA. At DBO Partners, Devon focused on enterprise software across several verticals. Prior to DBO Partners, Devon co-founded a digital asset aggregator while at Notre Dame.
Devon has a BA in Finance and a minor in Computing and Digital Technologies from Notre Dame.
Amit Bushan – Analyst
Amit Bushan is an Analyst for the Long Path Partners Fund. Prior to joining Long Path in 2020, Amit completed his MBA at Columbia Business School. Prior to business school, Amit spent four years in private equity and two years in investment banking, most recently as a VP at Energy Capital Partners.
Amit has a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
John Cresson – Associate, Analyst
John Cresson is an Analyst for the Long Path Smaller Companies Fund. Prior to joining Long Path in 2021, John was an Investment Banking Analyst at PJT Partners in their Restructuring & Special Situations Group. Before joining PJT Partners full-time, John interned for PJT Partners and MSD Partners.
John has a BBA in Finance and Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame.
Andy Farrell – Consultant, Primary Research
Andy Farrell is a Research Consultant with Long Path. Prior to working with Long Path, Andy was an Analyst at Makaira Partners, a concentrated long-biased hedge fund. At Makaira, Andy focused on extensive due diligence of names primarily through journalistic research methods. Before joining Makaira, Andy was a Vice President at Capital Health Group, a private equity firm focused on distressed healthcare assets. Andy started his career as a financial journalist. As a Staff Writer at Forbes, he covered financial markets and billionaires.
Andy received his BA in political science and his MBA from Columbia University. He is a CFA Charterholder.
Margaret Jacobs – Analyst, Primary Research
Margaret Jacobs is a Primary Research Analyst with Long Path. Prior to joining Long Path in 2020, Margaret was an accomplished journalist who has written and edited for both The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s. In addition, she has a law degree, a master’s in social work, and certification in psychoanalysis. Since 2007 she has been working as a consultant to select investment firms helping them with their primary research efforts. While at the Wall Street Journal, she covered legal and financial issues, and conducted extended investigative work.
Margaret has a BA in History from Yale University, a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, and a MSW. from Fordham University.
Wyatt Courtney – Partner, Relationship Management & Marketing
Wyatt Courtney leads Relationship Management for Long Path Partners. Prior to establishing Long Path in 2018, Wyatt was a Managing Director of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. where he led US and European Institutional Business Development and Relationship Management. Wyatt joined Brown Brothers in 2001 and served as an equity Product Specialist, Private Client Relationship Manager, and third-party manager research Analyst before focusing on institutional sales in 2009.
Wyatt received his BA in History from Connecticut College and his MS in Investment Management from Boston University.
JP Adams – Partner, COO & CFO
JP Adams serves as Long Path Partners’ Chief Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to establishing Long Path in 2018, JP was a senior member of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.’s Investment Management Strategy team and led BBH Investment Management’s Marketing team. Before joining Brown Brothers, JP was a Senior Program Manager restructuring AIG’s Treasury function, a consultant for Deloitte Consulting, and a Corporate Strategy analyst for Nationwide Insurance.
JP received his BA in English Literature from Northwestern University.
Emily Vincent – Associate, Operations & Client Service
Emily Vincent is an Operations and Client Service Associate at Long Path Partners. Prior to joining Long Path in 2021, Emily worked in Marketing and Strategy for DiDi Chuxing, China’s largest ride-hailing platform, while pursuing her graduate degree at Peking University.
Emily received her BA in Anthropology and Chinese from the University of Notre Dame and her Master of Economics in China Studies from the Yenching Academy of Peking University.
